I offer some other photographic services. If you like my work, I'll be happy to consider creating a visual album of any event of yours, such as a reunion or other kind of family or business party. For many years I did hand restoration of genealogical or family-history photography. I now do that same sort of work electronically using Photoshop techniques. And I have excellent scanning and printing capabilities in my workshop, so I'd be happy to consult with you on producing top-of-the-line archival Epson ink jet prints of your favorite photographs, whether starting from digital or film-based originals.

- I run a small business guiding visitors around Pittsburgh, one of my favorite places in the world. My website for that work is www.pittsburghwalking.com. There are some twenty images of "our fair city" there for your enjoyment.
- My professional title is "consulting naturalist," a title I gave myself some years ago when my job in industry was vaporized by merger mania. I consult for various people on a variety of subjects. One which has been of great interest is An Auto Tour of Old Growth Forests in Pennsylvania, which took me four years to create. Check it out at www.DCNR.state.pa.us/forestry/oldgrowth.
- One of the most interesting phases of my photography in the woods has been learning about horse logging. Check out my article on this work at http://www.drafthorsejournal.com/features/forestsofpa/forestsofpa.htm.
- I have another special interest and that is the work of John Roebling, the designer of the Brooklyn Bridge. It turns out that he got his start right here in Pittsburgh where he built his first two suspension structures. I published an article on that story in W. PA History magazine called " Pittsburgh's Riverfront and the Roebling Connection." You can find it, sans pictures, at http://www.pittsburghwalking.com/PittsburghHistory.html.
